Primeval and The Farm Oil paintings & a sketch by Gloria Poole of Missouri

I, Gloria Poole of Missouri and Georgia , am putting here two oil paintings I painted. The first one you see, when I finished painting it this year and signed it, I decided to name it "Primeval" because it means according to dictionary: "pertaining to the earliest age or time; in its original condition such as a primeval forest". The wooded part of this painting was intended to resemble a primeval forest. The stone patio/ platform, table, candelabra, was to indicate a "subduing" of it by humans according to Genesis 1: 27-28. This is also on another blog of mine, but I think this is a better photo even though I was standing and forgot to lean against something when I photographed it. I have a lop-sided gait and stance because of trauma to me that was repaired with much metal. My camera corrects for hand shake but not lop-sidedness. It is oil on canvas, 16x 20 inches in size. I have this painting on my living room wall. And I also have the farm painting in my so-called office /studio [second bedroom that I use as office & studio and catch-all storage]. And of course, I have my sketch books.

The second oil painting you see here is one I painted in year 2007 based upon a description of a farm in Africa that my youngest daughter Leigh, who was in Africa with the Peace Corps as a volunteer at the time [but she is in U S now], wrote about in a letter to me. It is oil on canvas board, size 11.5 x 16 inches . I grew up on a farm in South Georgia and I own some land from that farm I grew up on it. The farm I grew up on, does not much resemble the painting. I did draw a sketch that reminds me of the farm I grew up on, and I named it, "Inspecting the crops" and I think I put it to display on another blog of mine:

The third you see here is a sketch I drew yesterday, and painted some, then let it sit, because I didn't like it. I drew the hat too wide, and couldn't quite decide what landscape I wanted in it. I know that some socialite women own race horses, and hire managers for them. I intended this to portray that scenario, as the owner of the horse, watches the horse running in the paddock, practicing for a race, but without a jockey. It's a re-do, but you might like to see it.

Copyright Notice: I, Gloria Poole, of Missouri and Georgia, own this blog and all rights to it. I created it to begin with, years ago, and have continued it after I moved to Missouri Oct 31, 2009. I own all rights to this blog and to all content of it. I created the art and signed it, that I put on it, and I have the original paintings and sketches. I sign my name on art as Gloria, and on some sketches as Gloria Poole. Gloria Poole is my real, born with, legal names since I resumed it legally after my 2nd divorce which was in Arapahoe County Colorado. I removed the Pappas name from my name forevermore by order of District Court Judge at time of final decree of divorce in Oct 2007 from [male] DBP of Colorado. I am also known on the web as; gloriapoole; Gloria as on art such as this which I signed when I completed it;gloria0817; gpoole817; gloria.poole; gloria-poole; gloria_poole; gloriapoole1749; gloriapoole.RN; gloriapooleRN at yahoo in which the RN means standard abbreviation for Registered Nurse; and as artist-gloria; artist-gloriapoole; gloriapoole-paintings; and as other variations of my real, born with, legal name of Gloria Poole. And as G-L-O-R-I-A on and I had three domains with much art I created with my name written that way, for about 6 yrs until they were stolen from me by cyberthugs. I owned many domains and some with my name in them including gloriapoole. com for years 2004-2011 until criminals broke into web-hosting accounts of mine and ripped the domains and my content out to steal the domains.

For the record, I am white, single, woman, Christian, and the mother of two also white, grown "children" who are daughters named Jennifer and Leigh. I am also a Registered Nurse licensed in Missouri; and an artist in all artists mediums; and a blogger, tweeter, poet, author of children's book, and citizen journo; and photographer. I was born in the state of Georgia and am a US citizen by birth so I have all Constitutional protections including the First Amendment right to publish, speak, write, protest and the right not to associate with perverted [against nature] people.

Also, for the record, I create art of some sort almost daily; and often I post it to my blogs as a way of making art available to the world, and of being generous. My other blogs I post art too regularly are : [Gloria's blog, with art I created in a series]; This blog has 2 batches of the ethnic paintings & sketches I drew, painted and signed. More to come .; cartoons only with my words; ;[cartoons and graphics only]

And I post art I create to my other blogs that have either mission purpose to spread the gospel or prolife purposes; and those are:; are pencil drawings I drew to illustrate stages of human development;darken contrast if need be to view them.

And I did post much art I created to my tumblr at until tumblr wanted me to assign the copyright to them before proceeding and I refused. But the art on that tumblr is art I created and signed. Some of these blogs mentioned are shown in a thumbnail to the right of these words. I do not link all blogs I create but for purposes of copyright, I have to clearly identity which blogs I own and create and put original art and photos I create, on. I have also uploaded art I created to my twitter accounts:;

My copyright notice is on most blogs now, but just in case, the copyright notice on this blog incorporates these other blogs of mine that contain original words, lessons, poems, songs, prose, and art I created.
