The second oil painting you see here is one I painted in year 2007 based upon a description of a farm in Africa that my youngest daughter Leigh, who was in Africa with the Peace Corps as a volunteer at the time [but she is in U S now], wrote about in a letter to me. It is oil on canvas board, size 11.5 x 16 inches . I grew up on a farm in South Georgia and I own some land from that farm I grew up on it. The farm I grew up on, does not much resemble the painting. I did draw a sketch that reminds me of the farm I grew up on, and I named it, "Inspecting the crops" and I think I put it to display on another blog of mine: http://gloriapoole1749.wordpress.com.
The third you see here is a sketch I drew yesterday, and painted some, then let it sit, because I didn't like it. I drew the hat too wide, and couldn't quite decide what landscape I wanted in it. I know that some socialite women own race horses, and hire managers for them. I intended this to portray that scenario, as the owner of the horse, watches the horse running in the paddock, practicing for a race, but without a jockey. It's a re-do, but you might like to see it.

I owned many domains and some with my name in them including gloriapoole. com for years 2004-2011 until criminals broke into web-hosting accounts of mine and ripped the domains and my content out to steal the domains.
For the record, I am white, single, woman, Christian, and the mother of two also white, grown "children" who are daughters named Jennifer and Leigh. I am also a Registered Nurse licensed in Missouri; and an artist in all artists mediums; and a blogger, tweeter, poet, author of children's book, and citizen journo; and photographer. I was born in the state of Georgia and am a US citizen by birth so I have all Constitutional protections including the First Amendment right to publish, speak, write, protest and the right not to associate with perverted [against nature] people.
