Also in the news is something that pleased me. The state of North Carolina has a county government that has the right attitude about products and services, meaning commerce in U S is for everyone, and they decided to teach big corporation Coca-Cola a lesson in civics.

Biden trying force taxpayers to pay for abortions?

I learned long ago that catholics say one thing but do another. They say they are prolife but they vote vote pro-death. In this evenings'news is this quote from The Washington Examiner:

"At issue is the Hyde Amendment, the provision in budget bills which since 1976 has forbidden the use of federal funds for abortions (except in cases of rape or incest or to save the mother’s life). As did many Democrats, Biden himself consistently voted for the Hyde Amendment throughout his time in the U.S. Senate. On Friday, though, in the first full budget proposal he has presented as president, Biden excluded the Hyde Amendment.

Biden’s pro-abortion policy would end decades of bipartisan agreement that, no matter what one’s position on the legality of abortion, at least it is enough of a morally fraught issue that the money of anti-abortion taxpayers should not be confiscated to pay for the taking of baby’s lives. The consensus was that even if private funds or private insurance cover the elective surgery, public funds should not be."

I, Gloria Poole, drew this sketch and painted it with watercolors and signed it, put year on it, photographed it with 2 cameras, and uploaded it. I selected this because of the BBC article today about how the EU has ruled that "bird gluing"is illegal. Well, of course! That article was about a bird catching technique that is putting glue on branches to catch birds. I honestly cannot imagine anyone doing that. However, I believe The Holy Bible to be true and it says most birds are for human consumption in health laws of Leviticus. Some birds are NOT for human consumption and those birds are the ones in the predator class of birds and species. I love to watch birds! I watch them from my balcony and as I walk about, and photograph them every chance I get. I photographed the local geese from near by lake probably 10,000 times by now. I thought the "green leaves" around the fake bird would be give away that this is not an exact representation of any actual bird--only an artist interpretation of one,

Associated Press admits it goofed up by declaring Biden the winner when Alaska had not counted even half their ballots:
