Living Prime Ministers I sketched for ethnic series, by Gloria Poole of Missouri

I, Gloria Poole, born in state of Georgia but residing in Missouri have been creating paintings and sketches that I labeled "ethnic series" since year 2006. I posted some of the oil paintings of that series I painted to my mini exhibit blog at https://mini-exhibition.blogspot.com in about 3 different batches /posts to blog. This morning I am posting another batch of sketches of living Prime Ministers that I attempted to sketch to try to "capture" their likeness with pencil and brushes. Generally speaking, the "people" I have sketched are not real people. When they are real people I say so. Also, generally speaking the only real people I attempt to sketch draw or paint are those in the public realm already--those regularly in the news, already known and not considered "private" persons. I reason that those in public realm are accustomed to artists making drawings or sketches of them and consider it as going with the territory of being in the public realm as a leader or news-worthy person. So, I will label these sketches below each and you can decide if they image/ sketch is recognizable as the real person. I have these actual sketches and most of the tangible art I have created in my possession. Also, you will see my hand-written notes on some of these. I do that when I draw in real time sitting at computer screen looking at a tiny photo of a living person, so I can make the clothing and skin tone, hair, eyes, etc accurate when I paint the sketch. These sketches range in size from 8x11 to 11x14 inches. The first sketch is of Prime Minister Erdogan of Turkey. I just completed this sketch of Erdogan in evening yesterday. He has been in the news a lot lately and that is where I saw his photo--in BBC news. I also drew him years ago, but I didn't include the previous sketch. This one is better I think. It is powdered pastels for the face and acrylics for the "clothing". It has been years since I painted with powdered pastels and had almost lost the touch of them. I had to re-do this sketch a few times and it made me irritable with myself. Also, I could not replicate the shade of blue of his suit that day in news with pastels so re-painted it with acrylics. For purposes of ethnicity, I think Turkish or Turk would be correct. I signed it twice because I thought it was done, but next day didn't like it so repainted some of it and signed it again without much thought to it.

The second sketch is Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu. It is on paper [as all of these sketches are. Ethnicity= Israeli/

The third sketch is Great Britain's Tony Blair who was Prime Minister for two terms if I remember history correctly. Ethnicity=English.

The fourth sketch is Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and so is the fifth sketch following this one. I tried several times to draw him accurately. Ethnicity=Canadian.

The fifth sketch is a later sketch and frontal view of Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

The sixth sketch is Nepal's Prime Minister, which is a sketch I drew years ago to honor Rosoj of Nepal who worked at DCTV station in Denver, when I had a TV show there for Tapestry of LIFE and he helped me some. I learned some about Nepal from Rosoj and some about his religion too [but I am Christian]. I moved from Colorado on Oct 31, 2009 and to Missouri to my same apt I am writing this from. Ethnicity=Nepalese.

The seventh sketch is the Indian [of India, not native American] Prime Minister who is currently their Prime Minister. Ethnicity=Indian from India.

And I am known as G-L-O-R-I-A on http://gloriapoole.wordpress.com and I had three domains with much art I created with my name written that way, for about 6 yrs until they were stolen from me by cyberthugs. I also had many domains and many with my very name written as gloriapoole in them from years 2004-2011 when criminals broke into my web-hosting accounts and ripped my domains and content right out-of-admin-panel. I have not bought domains since , because there is no security on web-hosting 'packages" because they do not honor business law or contract laws or any laws that I can tell since web-hosting companies do not try to stop cyber-criminals.

For the record: I am white, single again [divorced twice], woman with brown hair, Southern Baptist Christian, and the mother of two grown "children" who are daughters named Jennifer and Leigh. I am also a Registered Nurse licensed in Missouri; and an artist in all artists' mediums; and a blogger, tweeter, poet, author of children's book, and citizen journo; and photographer. I was born in the state of Georgia and am a US citizen by birth so I have all Constitutional protections including the First Amendment right to publish, speak, write, protest and the right not to associate with ungodly in general and atheist perverts in particular, or with violent murderous people or with alcoholics or with d-r-ug-a-d-d-ic-t-s [spelled to try avoid being labeled as wrong sort of person by political censorship on the prowl]..

I am not an employee of anyone and there is no one authorized to sell, trade, barter, display, reproduce, or photograph or upload or download art or words I create but me. Do not be deceived by con-people. My name Gloria Poole is my real, born with, legal name since I resumed my maiden name by Court order in Oct 2007 after second divorce for me [from male DBP] in Arapahoe County Colorado.
