Pontooning sketch by Gloria Poole of Missouri and Georgia

When I was a student nurse in Atlanta Georgia [years ago] I was invited by GA Tech guy to a party at Lake Allatoona's Yacht Club; and I went. The party was on a huge pontoon and there were lots of people there. It lasted well after midnight. The water on the lake looked pitched black and people who were really really drunk were jumping overboard. The fun for me stopped at the precise moment someone said 'let's all jump overboard'. I had enough nurses' training by that time to know the risk of them drowning from alcohol slowing their thoughts and reflexes was huge; and my anxiety as probably the only first responder on that pontoon went sky-high with lightning speed. I tried to coax them to get back on the boat. They called me 'party-pooper'. But I tried; and then I PRAYED. No one died thank GOD but I have not been to another party at a yacht club since. That's the background of my history with pontoon boats. After that event, I did begin to ask whenever I was invited to anywhere by a guy if there would be drinking of alcohol or other so-called "recreational d-r-ug-s there" so I could just say "no thanks". I did graduate from GBH College of Nursing [as it is now known since name change when it became part of Mercer University]; and I became an Registered Nurse in Georgia and worked there many years. I also have a Registered Nurse license in Missouri which I designate on some of my emails as R.N. or RN or dot RN after my name which is the standard abbreviation for Registered Nurse. This sketch is intended to change that memory in my mind some to a more positive attitude about pontoon boats. This sketch is pretend people I created using my pencils, brushes, watercolors and paints. Obviously the boat is coming into the pier to dock for a while. It is mixed media of watercolors [the shore and trees] and acrylics of the "water" and boat and people. It's in my sketch book on my portable drawing board. I use watercolors and watercolor pencils and goauche [opaque watercolors] to sketch when my idea is so vague that I cannot yet define it because watercolors are easy to change and paint over. Also, when I want to subdue the background so it doesn't compete with the foreground.

I also had many domains and many with my very name written as gloriapoole in them from years 2004-2011 when criminals broke into my web-hosting accounts and ripped my domains and content right out-of-admin-panel. I have not bought domains since, because there is no security on web-hosting 'packages" because they do not honor business law or contract laws or any laws that I can tell since web-hosting companies do not try to stop cyber-criminals.

For the record: I am white, single again [divorced twice], woman with brown hair, Southern Baptist Christian, and the mother of two grown "children" who are daughters named Jennifer and Leigh. I am also a Registered Nurse licensed in Missouri; and an artist in all artists' mediums; and a blogger, tweeter, poet, author of children's book, and citizen journo; and photographer. I was born in the state of Georgia and am a US citizen by birth so I have all Constitutional protections including the First Amendment right to publish, speak, write, protest and the right not to associate with ungodly in general and atheist perverts in particular, or with violent murderous people or with alcoholics or with d-r-ug-a-d-d-ic-t-s [spelled to try avoid being labeled as wrong sort of person by political censorship on the prowl].

And criminals broke into my Asus tablet to destroy it with malware but it's been off line since Nov 2012 so wasn't a big deal except loss of a paid in full tablet destroyed by criminals at remote in retaliation for me calling them perverts. I think I will call them what GOD calls them from now and that is "abomination" from Leviticus 18:22, KJV. I learned long ago that all mobile stuff is intended to self destruct about the time the mfg makes a new version. That's why I never intend to buy another mobile anything ! It's a huge waste of money. And, earlier today, I tweeted to the @FBI the name of the SSID of the person who broke into my tablet. So, I learn my fight back strategy from the Bible. When Samson in the Bible was surrounded by an army of evil, he knew he couldn't win but he could take down most of them with him when he pulled the building down on top of them. Verizon is an evil company and I quit doing business with them in Nov 2012 when they blocked my use of my tablet that I bought from Best Buy and paid for, and used on a Verizon plan that I had paid up for a month and had used 0.3 gb of data on election day of that year because I watched Mitt Romney on an app --a 15 sec video and they ruined my tablet because of it. I hope they burn in hell for the evil and financial losses they caused me for being REPUBLICAN and PROLIFE and for publishing scriptures opposing sodomy and perversion..
