Military via Pentagon tracking all social content worldwide

I am posting here quotes used to educate the public, from article at :
http://www.wired.com/dangerroom/2012/01/military-meme-tracker/. These quotes about the Pentagon developing software tracking to "monitor" internet conversations on any social platform worldwide for the purpose of finding "infectious" talk /words that lead to "unrest" beginning with this quote: "Applied to online discourse, epidemiological models would essentially treat uprisings like illnesses. They’d pull apart a web conversation (the author of the post, the site where it was published, the comments that ensued) and try to figure out which parts contributed most readily to the spread of a revolutionary message. That’s a different approach to prediction than the Pentagon’s current initiatives, like the Integrated Crisis Early Warning System, which combines news reports with expert intel and big social and demographic forces to come up with a forecast.
The software’s overarching goal? Help the Pentagon determine how “the flow of ideas or ‘memes’ through electronic media can … infect and influence susceptible populations.”

Called “Epidemiological Modeling of the Evolution of Messages” — shortened to E-Meme — the program would use language recognition technology to determine what people in certain regions, of certain age groups, genders, or any number of other demographics, are discussing. From “next week’s election” to “link up and cause havoc.
... "despite a massive Pentagon investment — $125 million in the past three years alone — on computer systems meant to spot signs of political unrest worldwide."..."It’s unclear whether E-Meme will succeed where other programs have floundered. But McCormack and co. certainly have high hopes for the software’s abilities. Eventually, they’d like to analyze “sentiments” and “the perceptions of groups” to determine “what the online discussion will actually turn into.” Egypt’s relative peace, for example, compared to Libya’s rampant violence. Of course, McCormack notes, that kind of analysis remains “incredibly difficult to do.”
Such all-knowing, infallible web mining might be a ways off, but the evolution of software like E-Meme will no doubt remain a major Pentagon priority. In the past two years alone, we’ve seen the CIA invest ina company that scours the Internet to “predict the future,”  Iarpa consider the merits of person-finding via web pic and spotting rebel citizens via YouTube."
And these quotes about Senator Rand Paul being detained by the TSA this past Monday in a political show of force: And quotes from:
http://www.businessinsider.com/how-to-tell-youre-living-in-the-wrong-country-2012-1 w/ quotes:
"Thing is, TSA airport security has nothing to do with security, and everything to do with making sure that every human being who transits within or through a US commercial airport knows exactly who is in charge. We call it the Tip of the Spear.
The idea is to desensitize people to government intrusion, generally with something shocking (like treating a 6-year old girl as a criminal terrorist). That’s the tip of the spear. As the spear drives further and further into its target, subsequent intrusions seem less and less acute."...Psychologist Robert Cialdini, whose writings on influence and persuasion have been read by millions across the world in dozens of languages, discusses three key principles which apply to this ‘Tip of the Spear’ approach.
The first is called social proof. It’s easy to understand– like lemmings, sheep, or milk cows, people standing in the security line watching everyone else get patted down and go through body scanners, will most likely comply with the social norm. Monkey see, monkey do.
The second is the principle of authority. Also easy to understand– people will obey authority figures even if it requires taking objectionable action. Uniforms establish an authority image, as do the training programs that teach intimidation tactics to government agents– voice projection, direct eye contact, use of professional vocabulary, etc.
The third is a bit more complex; Cialdini calls it the principle of commitment and consistency. Simply put, if people commit to an idea in word or deed, their future actions will be consistent with this idea because it becomes part of their own self-image.
In this context, people who submit to government intrusion the first time (e.g. watch their children receive pat-downs at TSA checkpoints) are more likely to continue acceding to further government intrusions down the road. It’s a bit of a boiling frog approach.
When you step back and look at the big picture, ‘security’ is an utter farce. The moral argument for such measures is rooted in a silly myth that men in caves wish to do us harm. The legal argument is questionable at best. Many folks forget that the Fourth Amendment to the US Constitution states:
“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated…”
Does anyone truly consider it reasonable to subject passengers to demeaning, invasive searches? Or to douse travelers in radiation from machines that cost over $100,000? Or to waste billions of dollars and man-hours each year on security procedures that are routinely proven to be ineffective?
If the answer is yes, then you obviously don’t see eye-to-eye with your neighbors, hence you’re probably living in the wrong country.
If the answer is no, then it should be obvious that your government has hijacked liberty… in which case you’re probably living in the wrong country." And these quotes:
These are on cnn's list but when you read them, they"re scary for tracking/stalking reasons; therefore not good apps [in my opinion}:
"Facebook Timeline Apps (free): Facebook recently announced more than 60 partners who provide apps for its new Timeline feature, in such themes as entertainment, fitness, food, giving, music, news, shopping and travel. Timeline's integration, in a nutshell, posts your activity from these other websites and services on your Facebook page. Whether it provides added value or just more clutter to your feeds is up to you."
This able could facilitate stalking:
..."Find My Friends (free): Think the Find My iPhone app, but for people. Find My Friends allows iPhone or iPad users to easily locate others via via their Apple IDs and iCloud -- totally contingent, of course, upon a close family member or friend agreeing to be tracked. Don't accept requests from anyone you don't want to know your whereabouts 24/7."

I think the citizens in the U S have to understand what is happening in the U S with the socialist leaning toward communist President Obama. Obama's administration recently got a new public law saying the U S Military could pick up & detain indefinitely for any reason or no reason, any person on U S soil including citizens and apparently active Senators in Congress. Now, if Senator Rand Paul had weapons on him, that would be different. But according to CNN interview he was detained because of his human knee on scanner.
The citizens of the U S are in danger of losing all liberties guaranteed to us by the U S Constitution if Obama continues in office [gets reelected] . He is not an American in his thought processes but either an Afrikan king like Ghadafi or a Karl Marx or a Stalin in thinly veiled disguise with his smooth as butter but revolution to communism in his heart approach to government.
I am posting these quotes here today as a public service sort of as Paul Revere warned the nation by putting a lantern in the steeple of a church long ago.

Critical Article in Washington Post today on liberty

I am writing this post today, at this time for several reasons with the main reason being there is a definite attempt in the present administration in Washington DC to curtail/limit/suspend the liberties of U S citizens. The Washington Post, [which I have always considered very liberal] has even been forced to admit it; and they published an article today entitled "10 Reasons U S is no longer the land of the free" and it is a must read. The Obama administration has suspended the 4th Amendment, the first amendment, and all of the amendments about "due process" and citizens cannot pretend otherwise. I urge you to read that article now.
Also, Read Write Web has an article located at: http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/supreme_court_offers_no_help_to_schools_looking_to.php/ w quote:
"More recently, however, the ruling in Tinker vs. Des Moines Independent Community School District has been interpreted to give schools authority over comments students make on Facebook, Twitter, blogs and other social networks, regardless of the student's physical location when the comments are posted." It is important you understand how that affected every student in the U S . The Tinker decision was in 1969 and you can read it at:
http://law2.umkc.edu/faculty/projects/ftrials/firstamendment/tinker.html w quotes from it: "In our system, state-operated schools may not be enclaves of totalitarianism. School officials do not possess absolute authority over their students. Students in school as well as out of school are "persons" under our Constitution. They are possessed of fundamental rights which the State must respect, just as they themselves must respect their obligations to the State. In our system, students may not be regarded as closed-circuit recipients of only that which the State chooses to communicate. They may not be confined to the expression of those sentiments that are officially approved. In the absence of a specific showing of constitutionally valid reasons to regulate their speech, students are entitled to freedom of expression of their views. As Judge Gewin, speaking for the Fifth Circuit, said, school officials cannot suppress "expressions of feelings with which they do not wish to contend."..."'The vigilant protection of constitutional freedoms is nowhere more vital than in the community of American schools.' The classroom is peculiarly the 'marketplace of ideas.' The Nation's future depends upon leaders trained through wide exposure to that robust  exchange of ideas which discovers truth 'out of a multitude of tongues, [rather] than through any kind of authoritative selection.'"
The principle of these cases is not confined to the supervised and ordained discussion which takes place in the classroom. The principal use to which the schools are dedicated is to accommodate students during prescribed hours for the purpose of certain types of activities. Among those activities is personal intercommunication among the students. This is not only an inevitable part of the process of attending school; it is also an important part of the educational process. A student's rights, therefore, do not embrace merely the classroom hours. When he is in the cafeteria, or on the playing field, or on the campus during the authorized hours, he may express his opinions, even on controversial subjects like the conflict in Vietnam, if he does so without "materially and substantially interfer[ing] with the requirements of appropriate discipline in the operation of the school" and without colliding with the rights of others". But after all of that this was their decision:

"After an evidentiary hearing the District Court dismissed the complaint. It upheld the constitutionality of the school authorities' action on the ground that it was reasonable in order to prevent disturbance of school discipline. 258 F.Supp. 971 (1966).
On appeal, the Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit considered the case en banc. The court was equally divided, and the District Court's decision was accordingly affirmed, without opinion. 383 F.2d 988 (1967). We granted certiorari"
/.
The U S has got to end 'big brother government" including schools that teach socialism/communism.
I want you all to remember that though I am Republican, and because of U S Constitution's definition of a republic & its citizens, I do not think Mitt Romney is republican; because of how he governed Massachusetts one of the most socialist-leaning states in the nation. Please vote for a true republican in upcoming election; & that means one who knows what the Constitution's actual words are.

A Yellow Rose for Gov Rick Perry, REPUBLICAN candidate

This is a photo I took, of the yellow rose. I am adding it here today to remind you of the country song 'the yellow rose of Texas' and to remind you the U S has a presidential candidate from Texas named Rick Perry. I like Gov of Texas Perry for these reasons:
1) he is strong Christian, and led the prayer in Jesus' name before hundreds of thousands of people last fall. And
2) he is a strong prolifer, who wants to protect the preborn in the womb, with public law.
And
3) he seems authentic, not a canned script sort of guy, reading from a teleprompter. Of course, he might do that now [read from teleprompter] after the nation had a knee jerk reaction to "oops" .
4) He doesn't quit at the first sign of trouble.
5) He wears boots, and shoots rattlesnakes! Hey, I'm all for a man who protects his family from predators.
And I am adding this entry here today precisely because I read that Facebook has cooked up some scheme to intimidate republicans by making it known they made a deal to give or sell their user info INCLUDING the private direct messages, emails, and user info to Politico, for them to "study". That INFURIATES me as it is an egregious violation of civil liberties of republicans as a class. I am a firm believer in the first amendment liberties that include the freedom of speech, press, conscience, & the right to participate or not in the political realm, & the right to petition the government for redress of grievances. Facebook is TRYING to intimidate republicans by making them guinea pigs in a political 'study' [read your info will be used to contact you, and or attack your methods of communication] without your consent.
The internet is like a giant bathtub drain, sucking down your info by the gallons; even without deliberate efforts by Facebook's Zuckerberg to purposely sell out the first amendment.
Read the article about Facebook 's deal with Politico, on readwriteweb.com today. And then do one of these please:
1) quit your facebook & delete your account in protest.
2) write in every sentence the name of a Republican candidate to purposely skew their so-called study of who is ahead [a trick if you read the entire articles & understand the rules of the FEC about federal campaigns]' and thus thwart their attempts to enroll republicans into "studies" that use republicans' words, info, without consent.
3) march in protest of Facebook's violation of civil liberties including the first and fourth amendments. And read all my tweets today on one of my twitter accts at https;//twitter.com/gloriapoole. And read http;//gloriapoole.xanga.com

"Big Brother" spy tools being developed by CarnegieMellon

In the article at http://money.cnn.com/2012/01/13/technology/face_recognition/index.htm?source=cnn_bin/ Carnegie Mellon University says it takes 4 hrs to identify anyone in US from a photo uploaded to net.Read article on CNN today 13-Jan-2012;9:46am. And also read all my tweets today on one of my twitter accounts at http://twitter.com/gloriapoole for events of yesterday that documents how cybercriminals are attacking my electronic devices including my cell phone [that I had tweeted from & almost no one else knew the number of].
Well. In case you don"t already know this: I oppose the entire concept of all invasive all pervasive "Big Brother" government as warned about in book 1984. I am law-abiding my entire life to this moment as I write this as I am U S citizen with First Amendment liberty to "petition the government for redress of grievances" which I do via twitter, blogs, emails, etc. I utilize those services because Colorado state government did NOT enforce their own laws or federal laws,by refusing to imprison known cocaine-addict who was violent to me on 3 occasions & they knew it; therefore, I have less income than I would have if I was employable [suffered many injuries from attempts by then-husband to kill me in July 2006 in Arapahoe County Colorado]. But because he is democrat & so is Colorado & so is the perpetrator of the communist takeover by Obama [Obama} whose goals are to silence prolifers, republicans,Christians, heterosexuals, he was allowed to run roughshod over me because I am CHRISTIAN, prolife, Republican as defined by Constitution, & heterosexual. The so-called Justice Dept is now "facilitating" drug-running, and "facilitating" face recognition via universities ' computer labs and their "link" to Harvard University through Obama; and government spying to harass those "political enemies" of Obama. Including me. So I document that somewhere for the public's sake. I know no one can fool all the people all the time, not even Obama with his predator drones, extra-judicial killings, his 24/7/365 spy network on web,his usurpation of citizens' incomes via "Obamacare", his suspension of 4th Amendment with judges ruling that feds attaching a GPS device to any vehicle parked in any public place as "constitutional" & without need of warrant, his supplying semi-automatic weapons to dangerous, murderous drug dealers, and his intent to wipe out America by using schools to teach spying, hate of America, abortion as 'duty" for the poor, etc, etc, etc .
I know from first hand experience with my hosted site of http;//gloriapoole.com that Carnegie Mellon University computer labs have spied and hacked for U S government since at least 2006,when they broke into & spam flooded my forum on that site to cause a denail of service attack against me when I called Hillary a jezebel [as defined in book of Revelations] in that year, and they left their calling card on one of my blogs as "Hillary's hackers".
Please read the CNN article & realize that if you or anyone else adds your photo on line anywhere, you will be added to national government database. Now of course, prolife activists have known that since at least 1991 when B Clinton was spying on them to try to suppress them. It comes with the territory, sort of like those activists in Egypt, and every middle east country that had in the square public protests knew they would be photographed by photo-journalists & their lives at risk. Sadly, the U S has become that sort of nation--spying its citizens, trying to suppress them surreptiously by attacking their means of publishing, and by unrestraining the violent psychopaths of society .
This may not be much to do, but it's something. I have had ENTIRE paid hosting accounts broken into, my domains stolen, my emails stolen, my bank info stolen [early last year] ,my Paypal acct broken into, my isp acts broken into, my cell phones broken into; because I use them to get info from news & because I use them to send info to public. I am convinced those behind those cyber-attacks are : Obama who wants to overthrow liberty of citizens; Hillary who wants power for herself & who sold out America time & time again with alliances with foreign powers; democratic party; Planned Parenthood murderers, Centre for Reproductive [killing] "rights"; U S Dept of Education who absolutely HATES GOD & particularly Christians & demands atheism be the religion of all schools.

Good News for Preborn Humans! Thanks 5th Circuit Ct

This photo is me holding a napkin to my face, remembering when I worked in the operating room. I am adding it here because it was when I worked in the operating room of hospitals that I learned that abortions were routine & horrible! I did not/would not knowingly ever participate in helping with abortions but learned that some doctors lie on paper. But the good news is that the tide is turning in America for the preborn.
In the news last evening is the fact that the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the State of Texas' requirement that women considering an abortion must be shown their sonogram with description of the stage of development including cardiac [heart] status and whether arms and legs are developed, is constitutional; and is necessary for true informed consent. That decision by the Appeals Court is surely going to save human lives, and I want to say a public thank you to them, on behalf of all those in womb who cannot speak for themselves.
Hopefully, women who see their baby with baby's heart beating on sonogram will not murder their baby! A baby's heart is developed & beating by 10 days after fertilization.
However, decision for ultrasound[sonogram] is not the only battle in the cause of human life. The laws in the U S have to be changed to protect the innocents in the womb, from premeditated destruction by bad people. Even in the cases of rape or incest, the baby in the womb is INNOCENT, not responsible for the sins of the father. And in Judeo-Christian civilizations and in civilized societies of other religions the children are not put to death for what the father did.
So, the 5th Circuit Court has done a wonderful thing, giving the tiniest humans a chance at life, if their mothers have even a spark of humanity in themselves. But all courts in U S have to do more. They have to rule against Planned Parenthhood at every court case, because Planned Parenthood is morally equivalent to the gas ovens of Hitler's reign of terror. Planned Parenthood is a very evil organization and should not be allowed to bring any case to court as their motives are killing innocents.
Correction: I have been hindered purposely this past week by cyber-hackers, and I wrote about it on one of my twitter accts that was twitter.com/gloria_poole/ and then twitter took down those posts [several from 3-4 days ago. So now the U S citizens know who controls twitter.
Also, good news today is on NY Times front page. Summed up it says that U S Supreme Court rules in favor of religious liberty in "Hosanna-Tabor Church v. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, No. 10-553" giving churches & church schools the liberty to decide who their "ministers" & or teachers will be & what their rules will be.

Saga of Century Tel Fraud continues

I am writing another episode in my 2 yr 3 month "battle" to get control of my name & internet accounts away from criminals. See previous post since this continues that one. After the hour & 15 minutes of fake service from Century Tel on the day I wrote previous post, I did get the reissued bill by US mail. I want to include it here so the feds can see how Century Telephone pads bills w fake charges. Oh, before I forget...century tel's crooks changed my dsl pw after I had to "verify" my billing pw (because the criminals didn't know it); so they retaliated against me for complaining. No surprise there. I realized w my first bill from them that there were crooked.
Ok, heres the "new" bill for services beginning after Jan 20th:
CenturyLink package =59.95
package taxes=6.36
centurylink local services =14.89 (though what they are, only the criminals know)
centurylink long distance =3.45 (though I have "unlimited" long distance;
centurylink internet services =6.88 ( though internet is in the so-called package above)
late fees =6.29
past due =3.70
total due =101.52.
I think Century Telephone could be used as example by all business school, professors of how bad monopolies are. But good news, there is competition in my town in Missouri now since mediacom services are less expensive, Verizon offers home telephone service now, & so does another company in town. So I reason in time, the crooked ways of Century Tel which catch up to them, and their customers will vote with their feet to another business.
By the way, my bill was only late once in Oct 2009 when it was sent to a legislator's office in Louisiana before being sent to payment center. It won't be late this time either unless the post of
fice takes 13 days to drive 50 miles to there.

Century Link/Tel was hacked AGAIN; ?always crooked

Adding this entry today has taken FIVE login attempts since Century Telephone tried to tamper with my acct to prevent me from calling their fraud dept. I am adding the details here because 2 YEARS of trying to talk to someone there with any knowledge of I T security, or business law, or fraud prevention, has been useless. Either they were hacked AGAIN, or they were always crooked. Since I am not sure yet, which it is, I am posting this here because the entire world should know how they do business before you sign up with them for an account. Let me start with posting an actual bill on my landline telephone account from June 23, 2011,because it is the one I got to get the customer telephone number from, but all bills paid up until Jan 20th,2012] quoting from the paper bill in my hand:
CenturyLink Packages [supposedly telephone & internet} 59.95
Package taxes 6.32
CenturyLink Local Services 14.97
CenturyLink LongDistance Services [apart from the "unlimited long distance" 3.44
CenturyLink Internet Services 6.88
total due then & which I paid = 91.56
Hold that figure in your head, and multiply it by 27 = $2,472.12 PLUS because several months my bill for same "package" was $106; which I have paid to Century Telephone since Oct 2007 when I told them I was moving to Missouri & wanted new service there PLUS they tacked on a $199 bill for no apparent reason my first month in Missouri PLUS charged me the $25 deposit TWICE before that.
I did not receive my bil due in January so I called them and I want to tell you about that; but first let me tell you my bill is paid up , so you know that supposedly I am good standing with them. I called them for 2 reasons: 1) someone tried to hijack my artist email acct on centurytel this past Monday and I asked for password reset, & their system told me it sent it, but it did NOT come to me! That was my first clue this go-round of bad service from Century Tel; and my second clue this time, was NO paper bill arrived when it did for 27 months, which meant to me that a cybercriminal set up an online acct in my name using my telephone number & "SSID" [that all of century tel employees know but supposedly no one else does] to try to intercept /hijack my telephone acct and or port my numbers. I have pretty good idea which criminal did that, and I am sure that the FBI probably does also.
This morning @ 8:30 am when they opened I called the local telephone company office & spoke with a "Nicolette" & told her about this, and she put me on hold several minutes then said I needed to talk to 800 number for Century Tel customer services; and said she transferred call to them. Then "Sherrita" from "financial services" answered and asked for my DSL password! That was also a clue, since she does not need that. So I asked her IF she worked for Century Tel, and reminded her that my acct password for billing & my login to internet pw are different, and she got mad, and said insulting things to me for instance saying I was "confused" and "not capable of understanding the difference". And then i got mad and said I did not appreciate her insulting my intelligence. So then she said I had to talk to "customer service" and that she would transfer my call to them, and then "Matt" from "customer service" answered & he told me the amount due and when { which is ten dollars higher than that June bill for NO CHANGES to my service, no unusual [directory assistance calls, no explanation of why/how they padded bill by another $10] ; and then I told him about event of trying to get pw reset on my artist email,[I do have 1 other email on my century tel acct but it is not the one showing on my paper bill!]; and he put me on hold saying he would have to see how many emails on my acct. I was on hold about 10 minutes and a "Daniel" from "voice repair" came on line saying not much of anything really except i needed to talk to the fraud dept. So I asked for their number & he told me it is : 8007883500 but he would transfer my call to them. I then heard an automated message repeating every few seconds saying "to leave the que and request a callback, press 1". I held on line for 16 minutes, making this so-called customer request phone call lasts from 8:31am until I hung up @9:46am. Then I called the number the fraud dept gave to get an "identity theft affadavit" which is 877-451-1980, and got the same useless automated recording and none of the options worked.
Also, I have complained repeatedly that the userId on my bill is NOT correct or if it ever was, it seems to have been hijacked by criminals. But Century Telephone, apparently long in the habit of run-arounds and padding bills, has a "who cares? " attitude.
I had sent their tech support an email two days ago about this, and in their fraudulent/inept/incompetent/careless indifferent method of resolving problems tried to block my GOOGLE acct, though Google has NOTHING whatsoever to do with my Century Telephone bill.
Oh, did I foget to mention that a few months when I called about this, the CENTURY Telephone staff told me I should not use Century Tel email because it was no good, and suggested I use a free email instead. Why Century Telephone pays those idiots is beyond comprehension unless of course, the padded fees flow to the billing and or HR dept and or Chief Executive. Could be??
IF you are unfortunate to have a Century Tel acct, then join me in prayer that GOD does something to "clean their house" of crooks; and IF you don't have an acct with them , NEVER sign up for one. IF you do your acct will be earmarked for "contributing" slush money to the democrats, and or the Vatican, and your service will depend on you paying exorbitant padded fees monthly. And you will get high grads with no essential knowledge about anything when you ask for help. The "link" their name refers too is to the drug-running cartel from Mexico, backed by the Dems Obama & Holder; and the Vatican who must be using confiscated money from the embarq, Century Link/tel;Qwest;Syncaor customers to pay their priests' legal fees and fines for all those sodomy cases. Or what? And the reason I say it is the drug-runners running Century Tel is because they spam-flooded my inbox on that email with drug offers [of illegal substances, narcotics for sale via internet/email] and which i wrote down the email addresses to save them for evidence because most of them had an centurytel.net email address; and I reported it to the U S Dept of Justice to ask for help in getting rid of drug dealers from any & all accts of mine.
