Ethnic Series Japanese Nurse oil painting by Gloria Poole of Missouri and Georgia:update

This is the oil painting I painted for my ethnic series of art I began in year 2006 when I lived in Aurora CO and had been injured and had surgery to put metal in my leg to repair and was immobile. I moved to Missouri in Oct 2009 after 2nd divorce in Oct 2007 and I brought the art I had created with me. I named this oil painting "Japanese Nurse" and I think it is oil painting about number 35 for ethnic series but I have painted hundreds of sketches on paper that are also art. I included some of those in this post. This is 16 x 20 on canvas with oil paints.Scroll down to see the progression of this from the pencil drawing>underpaintings x3 > finished canvas. I photographed this many times during the creation of it and also as it was drying to see how I liked it. This is NOT a real person. I created this image with pencil and paints.

This is the pencil drawing I drew of the face but later decided to omit the eyelashes when I painted it in oils.

This is how my palette looked yesterday as I was painting this. I will have to scrape all of that off for next painting most likely to start with fresh paints.

This is the display I made to represent the fact that I am a University of Georgia alum. I made display with info from the University alumni newsletter; then photographed it. I also put this on 2 of my twitter accounts this morning. I am still trying to retrieve my University of Georgia email that was stolen years ago from me. I do have an email that the University sends me mail too, but it is not the "official " one [with UGA domain] that rightfully belongs to me.
