This is my photo of my studio corner in my so-called 'home office" that I use almost exclusively for painting oil paintings. This photo shows that I had scraped off the old paint and wiped the palette with turpentine before starting again on the painting that I have begun that you see as a blue background on canvas. Before I scraped off the old paint, I used the blue and white oil paint that was on there to create the background.
This photo of mine is to show the creation of the palette for the next oil painting. I do not follow any "routine" for that as some artists do, and do not always use different hues of paint. I always start with the four primary colors however and add more as I need them. I do not use a wild variety of paint or high number of colors of paint to create the art I create.
This is my palette and easel as it exists today. I am thinking on what I want to paint there. I have two different ideas and they are both good, but one is of something I have sketched a few times and want to get exactly right if I paint it into oils, because it's one of my fav subjects.
This is one of my photos of my dip pens,and nibs that I draw with in inks; and my mortar and pestle where I sometimes experiment with grinding my own pigments. Artists have done that for centuries and I am no exception. I experiment with many techniques to produce art also, and many subjects.
This is my signature I signed in digital ink for a personal logo this year.
This is my left hand on one of my cross necklaces to remind all, that I do not make images or sculptures of JESUS or of GOD THE FATHER; nor do I worship any idols or images,or statues in accordance with the commandments of GOD in Exodus 2, KJV. I am Southern Baptist/ Great Commission Baptist faith. Read Matthew 28:18-20 for understanding what that means.
This is one of my photos of the U S flag that I photographed on walkabout and it is a visual reminder that I am natural born U S citizen with all civil liberties including the first amendment freedom of Press.

I also own a big digital camera [real camera not on a phone or gadget].
