NFL sketch by Gloria Poole of Missouri

I am putting 3 of the art works I created on this blog of mine, because @TheBritishMuseum is following me on twitter! Yea! Lucky me! I loved The British Museum when I visited it when I went to London in 1999. So, I am honored that they and other art Museums and or news about art such as The Dallas Art News, and The Getty Museum have looked at some of the art I created. So, this batch is sort of a way of confirming my identity since it seemed to have been in question since about November of last year. Not because of what I did--I didn't do anything particularly unusual for me, but because unknown persons flooded into my #Google accounts from remote locations. Hopefully, that is resolved now. These are:

1) a sketch of mixed media of acrylics and watercolors, that I painted and named "NFL". I am a University of Georgia alum [#UGA] and when I was there I attended the Ga football games. I know the University of Georgia is not in the NFL but the SEC. However, Georgia football is my point of reference for football. But this sketch is of an NFL league, and I probably don't need to say which one I was trying to draw. I had to research how their uniforms looked and I don't think I quite captured that bulky man image that football players have when they are suited up. This is the 3 rd time I tried to draw an action sports figure, and the first time was years ago.

2) The second one is an oil painting I painted for my ethnic series of paintings. I have posted it on 2 other sites : twitter.com/gloriapoole and also on http://gloriapoole.wordpress.com. My reason for posting it here is to connect it in viewers ' minds with me and with my name. It is one of the oil paintings I painted since January 2014 to be included in the ethnic series of oil paintings and sketches that I painted, sketched, drew since 2006. I named it "English Tea Party" and it is oil on canvas, about 20 x 24 inches in size. It is sitting against the back of a dining room chair and that is what you see in front of it. The cream color is part of the chair, not part of the painting.

3) Also, the third one is my signature as I signed it on the oil painting I also painted since January 1, 2014 and named "Primeval" and I put that painting image [my photo of it] on my blog at :Https://artist-gloriapoole.blogspot.com, earlier this evening. So viewers can compare it to that oil painting where I signed it in the lower left corner with green paint.

Also, please see the information about the March for life in the two previous posts of this same blog. I write on the #prolife cause often and have separate blogs especially for that. You can find the lists of those in the archives on this blog or maybe the about me page.

I also added a new cartoon to my cartoonig blog at: https://cartooning-by-gloriaoole.blogspot.com
