Hello Ars Technica and I.T. everywhere from Gloria Poole,RN,artist in Springfield MO

Hello, Ars Technica, and i.t. folks around the world. I am writing this in response to an article I read this morning in Ars Technica news at arstechnica.com/features/2021/10/securing-your-digital-life-part-1/. Here is the quote that got my attention in that article:
" "It’s not entirely different from my days at Ars Technica, but it has given me a greater appreciation for just how hard it is for normal folks to stay “safe” digitally. Even those who consider themselves well educated about cyber crime and security threats— and who do everything they’ve been taught to do—can (and do!) still end up as victims. The truth is that, with enough time, resources, and skill, everything can be hacked."..
As I read it, I wrote my own thoughts down and want to share them with cybercrime-preventers everywhere. There are some obvious to me realizations that have not yet occurred to manufacturers of technology products, so I am posting them here and now:

1) Router and modem manufactuerers should NEVER post the hard-coded passwords on the web.

2) Each router and modem built should have a unique, one of a kind, password--not one password for all models .

3) Routers and modems should generate an internal 2nd password between it and the computer/tablet/smartphone/gadget that changes at every boot-up, to make it difficult for criminals to know what it is each time.

4) Smartphone manufacturers should see to it that EVERY app meets IETF standards for connecting to telco infrastructure.

5) "Back-up"to anywhere should NEVER back up passwords.

6) Smartphones should work anonymously--without having to create a profile with a ton of personally identifying info such as name, location, email, password to email, fingerprints, iris scans.

7) Smartphones should not accept "mobile device manager"apps onto smartphones without hard proof that said app developer is indeed an employer of phone owner.

8) I've learned the hard way that an "update"is as likely to be malware/ransomware/phishing software/take-over-your-device, software as it is to be actually upgrading your system. I had to reformat my laptop TWICE when it was so-called " upgraded"; buy a new harddrive for my Apple Mac when I so-called upgraded it; reset one of my tablets once when automatic "upgrade"started and almost ruined it; and reset the other one 2 days after I bought it! So, in good conscience I tell consumers that upgrades may only be manufactuers method of churning profits--rendering what you bought last year unusable so you will buy something else. Those tactics should be illegal in U.S.

9) Remember the obvious: "password managers" STORE your passwords in offsite place, possibly China, Turkmenistan, Russia, Estonia,Ireland, Latin America. Do you really, seriously think your password is different from any other bit of data? A password should be entered when asked for by YOU, not by copying it from China! Get a grip on reality! Letting a software algorityhm store and copy and enter your password defeats the purpose of a password! And remember when you draw on your screen to create a password it is saved as a file and files are hacked every second of the day and nite. Entire schools teach hacking! Microsoft, and Apple Computers PAY hackers to break into their customers'computers in the pretense it helps them find the holes in operating system. What it really does is reward crime with cold, hard cash.

I studied i.t. a tiny bit at University of Georgia while getting a business degree there as aa second career. Since then I have taught myself by reading computer manuels, tinkering with my own devices when they failed, putting my content on web when I owned domains, etc. I am NOT expert and do not pretend to be. But I am also not stupid. When I think of more ways the powers that control the worldwide web could implement as "standards"I will post it. I create blogs to make my voice known. I was on Twitter until they illegally cesnored me to help rig election for Biden. I am REPUBLICAN and prolife which the anti-life folks hate with a passion.

I recently updated other blogs of mine including these, and each is unique, one of a kind, that I create one by one:

Also, today I created hundreds of filters to remove phishers thus providing the names and emails of those to the FBI.
