This is one of my photos I "shot" today with my camera of the oil painting I painted as a whimsical painting last nite just for fun. I was simply doodling [as Google calls it] with oil paint on a paintbrush with canvas, and decided to just make it fun. I usually plan what I paint, often draw it in pencil on canvas first, think on it, sometimes agonize on how to "fix it" but last nite, I just painted this in about an hour. I also signed it, put year on it, and today I photographed it and uploaded it today. I usually draw sketches quickly too but I have always taken pains with oil paints and canvas because they are intended to be more permanent. I am adding art I created to several of my blogs since I have painted 6 new oil paintings in the past month. I like painting! it keeps my busy, is fun, a way of expressing myself.
