This is the sketch I made today using ink, inktense and acrylic paint. I started drawing this with ink pens, and then because I couldn't get the sky to look like a sunset, I added inktense watercolors and then I added white acrylic paint for the foam on the waves. It is on 11 x 14 inch paper in my sketchbook that only has 1 or 2 more blank pages but not to worry! I already bought another sketch book. I was trying to paint a spectacular sunset that I saw in a photo. It's one of a series of sketches I made of oceans, rivers, water and beaches. I try to paint those intermittently and in fact, have an oil painting I am painting on as a work in progress of water cascading over land. Copyrighted, see notice below. This is another attempt of mine to sketch a walkover bridge otherwise known as a pedestrian bridge. I was trying to sketch this as if I was standing on the ground looking up at it, but I did not quite get the perspective right. So it's a do-over at some point in time. It is polychrome pencils made by Faber-Castell that I have a set of, and use intermittently on 11 x 14 paper and I signed it, photographed it, uploaded it and posted it as is true of all art on this blog. I draw in pencils and ink often and sometimes charcoals but have added chalk and encaustic to the mediums I use to create art. I paint in oils, acrylics, gouche, tempera and mix them at times. This is one of my christian cross necklaces that I own, and wear at times and my left hand to remind all that I am Southern Baptist, born again, Christian, woman and adhere to the words of JESUS as The Messiah foretold by Old Testament.
Since I am a #prolife #Christian who takes seriously the commandment in Matthew 28: 18-20, KJV, I make an effort regularly to publish the gospel in some way, to promote the prolife cause and to be a good representative of Christianity. Being a good Christian does not mean turning a blind eye to sin, however, as some fake christians believe. It is not loving to stand by idly while people go to hell.
