Oil painting Remember me this way from song, painted today by Gloria Poole, RN, artist of/ in Missouri:update2

This is the oil painting I have been painting on for a few weeks. I repainted it several times trying to get a good composition and make it all work together and get the perspective right. I tried to paint similar images of singer Edie Brickell and banjo player comedian Steve Martin and of Edie Brickell's husband Paul Simon and of Mrs Martin from images I saw on the web. The "babies" and children all around are of course pretend people. Though I know they have real children I did not attempt to paint their real childrens' images for their safety sake.I did my best with this painting. It is the most complex painting I have ever attempted, and I was trying to use the techniques of "old Masters" artists to create balanced composition. I had trouble painting certain parts of it and re-painted them several times. I also drew sketches of hands about 10 times trying to get better at that. I logged back in today 1st August 2015 to add in what I forgot yesterday: This is oil paint on 20 x 24 inch canvas. I painted it, signed it, photographed it several times including the process of painting it [as documentation] and uploaded it and posted it to this blog of mine, which is true of all art on this blog. My purpose in painting the words of the song "Remember me this way" sung by Edie Brickell and accompanied on banjo by Steve Martin, was to publicly thank them for their song "love has come for you" which is a good #prolife song, about a woman who didn't abort her baby when people wanted her too, and how much joy her baby brought to her. If you click or double-click on the photo, it enlarges and you can se more of the detail. I also tweeted about this on several of my twitter accounts and directly to Edie Brickell and Steve Martin. This is an actual oil painting on canvas that i completed yesterday after weeks of painting on it. I photographed it on the easel I painted it on without a tripod [which was probably not best idea] and in my "studio corner" I reserve for oil paintings and supplies. But I have designated areas of my entire apt to art, one for sketches, one for making drawings at drawing board, one for photographing, one for painting in oils. The "ghost" horse rising out of the river is intended to represent the dream of a horse by the "children" in the painting. And of course, the "horse" to the far left is a pony, not a full grown horse.

This is one of my christian cross necklaces that I own, and wear at times and my left hand to remind all that I am Southern Baptist, born again, Christian, woman and adhere to the words of JESUS as The Messiah foretold by Old Testament.

Since I am a #prolife #Christian who takes seriously the commandment in Matthew 28: 18-20, KJV, I make an effort regularly to publish the gospel in some way, to promote the prolife cause and to be a good representative of Christianity. Being a good Christian does not mean turning a blind eye to sin, however, as some fake christians believe. It is not loving to stand by idly while people go to hell.

This is my GBH College of Nursing seal where I attended and graduated as a professional nurse and then became licensed by the state of Georgia years ago. Also, on Sunday 26th of July 2015 at 2:35pm, I added back some of the identifying information on several blog posts that I created. Somehow cyber-criminals from remote deleted info about me Gloria [artist who owns and creates this blog] from 2 or 3 posts of art that i made of Edie Brickell and Steve Martin. I don't think ANYONE in any company or agency or government has secure internet but I do what I can to secure my accounts. But there are a plethora of ID thieves and criminals lurking on the internet and I keep praying the FBI rounds them all up and locks them away for a long long time. I made some changes in my settings trying once again to secure my account from criminals in Colorado. I myself have 2 cell phones that always belonged ONLY to me that I acquired in Colorado area code 720. I bought one of them with a bank card, and my daughter Leigh bought one of them with her bank card after my then-husband tried to kill me and abandoned me to die; and she paid for it in full for T-mobile to ship it to me. I didn't die and I brought those phones with me to Missouri and have them still. Criminals in Colorado go to the Tmobile store and pay a few bribes and get my call info so I am cautious how I use those phones. But since they are registered on Court documents where I testified in Court as my phones,and because I published them to the web for YEARS as mine and they are associated with art I created, I am keeping them. I also have Missouri landline telephones and Missouri and NY and Georgia phone numbers. I am keeping all of them for reasons of my personal safety to try to prevent stalking of me and theft of my art I created and my name.
